Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Pediatric Inpatient team in Bangor, Maine. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in the largest inpatient child psychiatry program in the state, within our newly opened state-of-the-art facility.
J-1 Waiver sponsorship is available, with a pathway to permanent residency (Green Card) supported by experienced immigration counsel.
Position Highlights:
- Join and lead an interdisciplinary team known for delivering high-quality psychiatric care
- Provide clinical leadership, teaching, and mentorship to care team members
- Participate in teaching and lecturing opportunities within our Adult Psychiatry Residency Program
- Predictable full-time, Monday – Friday schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee diagnostic evaluations and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
- Ensure all therapies and therapeutic activities align with treatment goals
- Conduct initial evaluations, initiate treatment interventions, and provide ongoing patient care
- Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development
