The Youth Affective Neuroscience Lab, led by Dr. Lizhu Luo at the School of Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University(NTU), Singapore, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Fellow (Postdoctoral Researcher). Our interdisciplinary lab investigates the behavioral and neural mechanisms of youth psychopathology, with a core focus on emotional and cognitive processing dysfunctions in youth depression.

This position centers on a cutting-edge project utilizing multimodal data analysis to explore depression predictors and develop targeted interventions.

Requirements

• Multimodal Data Integration: Develop and apply computational pipelines to analyze and integrate diverse datasets, including structural/functional neuroimaging (fMRI), behavioral responses, audio/speech features, and text/natural language processing metrics.
• Advanced Analytics: Implement machine learning, deep learning, or graph-based models to discover predictors of depressive symptoms and track intervention outcomes.
• Research & Publication: Prepare high-quality manuscripts for submission to top-tier peer-reviewed journals in neuroscience, psychology, and psychiatry.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Assist in mentoring PhD students and research assistants within the lab, and interface effectively with interdisciplinary collaborators.
